Currently, when searching for pull request branches on GitHub, the search is case sensitive. This makes it harder to find branches if the exact case isn’t remembered. It would be great if branch search could be case-insensitive, making it more user-friendly.
Steps to reproduce:
Go to the Pull Requests tab of a repository.
Try searching for a branch with a different case than its actual name.
Observe that it doesn’t appear in the results unless the case matches exactly.
Expected behavior: Branches should be found regardless of case when searching.
Additional context: This improvement would help developers find branches more easily, especially in larger repositories
